I am trying to cut corners where I can while decorating our house. Well, we recently bought a new toilet and with that new toliet came four awesome sheets of thick cardboard. They are just a hair bigger than 11X14. My mind started rolling on how to use them.
I decided to tape them together and cover them with fabric that I had on hand.
This is the cardboard after it had been taped.
I had to use a thin fabric as a liner because you could see through to the cardboard. No biggie though. I just used a extra piece out of my fabric stash. I stapled along the edge and made sure to fold the corners tight.
I then grabbed my “real” fabric and stapled it over the liner.
Drum roll please…..
I love how it looks! The wall in our bedroom was a bit off before because I hung up a picture of Greyson a while back. The new “art” balances the look of the whole wall.
Here is a throw from our bed. See how all the colors pull together? Love it!
