Hi, I'm Ashley. That handsome older guy with me is Luke and the other handsome little guy is Greyson. Together we make up "The Three Of Us". Eleven years ago, we decided to move back 'home' (Springfield, Missouri). We bought this amazing crazy house and that's where my blogging journey began.
I'm not sure what we were thinking when it comes to square footage. At over 3800 sq feet, "This House Might Be Bigger Than The Three Of Us". Get where we got the title of our blog? It's not the Mid-Century Modern house that I've always dreamed of but it's ours and we are making it our own.
Right after college, Luke and I bought a brand-new 1200 sq foot starter house. The extent of our DIY skills included calling the plumber for a stoppage (sorry, TMI?). But, come on; seriously... we had no DIY skills.
Fast forward to this house where we had carpet in EVERY bathroom, wallpaper in EVERY room (minus 2) and LOADS of yard maintenance. To say the learning curve has been steep is putting it lightly. We've been sharing for over six years' now and have learned so much by DIYing.
Today, I'm continuing to share DIY projects, design, home improvement tutorials, real-life progress (or no progress), an occasional travel post, family post, etc. I hope you are inspired to just START and learn. You can do it!
