How I Got Started Blogging

I'm sharing how I got started blogging in today's show. It's a departure a bit from DIY projects but I hope you still enjoy!

To quickly summarize, we bought this house in 2012. Luke had the idea to start a blog for friends and family. Quickly after tha,t because we were constantly getting asked what we were working on.

I took over and regularly blogged for 2 years or so and found that there were other home decor bloggers doing what I was doing.

Somewhere around 2014-2015, I started using link parties, Pinterest and other blogging groups to grow my blog audience.

2015-2017 brought a few paid partnerships but were very few and far between.

Late 2017-2018, I started treating my blog as business and started seeing the fruits of that.

Blogging today is way different than it was back then but maybe, even better?! I don't know. I've found my way in the blogging field but really focusing on SEO, and passive income streams.
