It seems like, most of the time, guest bedrooms don't get much focus when it comes to decorating. For many of us (me included), by the time we get to the guest bedroom... we are either out of money, time or interest. But, I don't think we have to spend a lot of time, money or interest in focusing on the guest bedroom to really have a space that welcomes those you want to host in your home. Tune in today to hear some Guest Bedroom Decorating Ideas that don't have to cost you a ton but that will make your guests feel right at home.

Suzannah and I both agreed that sometimes, the guest bedroom can be the perfect place to take a risk with decor or paint. When I worked on our guest bedroom a few years ago, I painted the walls Conifer Green by Behr but I only painted ¾ of the wall. I absolutely love the look but know that if this was my master bedroom, I would have been overwhelmed by the paint treatment.
Suzannah did a cool navy accent wall in her guest bedroom as well. So, we agreed that you can push the boundaries with your creativity when it comes to your guest bedroom because you aren't going to be actively using the space everyday.
That being said, you want your guests to feel right at home in the space and feel comfortable. We chat in-depth about ways to make your guests feel right at home, what types of items need to be in your guest room and what things you don't need.
We hope you walk away with a plan to brighten up your space for your next guests, I know Suzannah and I both did!
