DIY Personalized Dishwasher Safe and Food Safe Plates

February 23, 2016 by Ashley Mayes 10 Comments

DIY these fun food plates for your kiddos! They will love them!

I've thought for a long time that Greyson would love customized plates. It was something that I thought could be a fun little gift for Christmas (but I never got around to it). But, it did end up being a fun little gift for Valentine's Day. To be honest, it would be a pretty fun little DIY to do with your kiddos as well. These DIY Personalized Food Safe and Dishwasher Safe Plates take under an hour (even with the baking time). I love a fast and cute project, don't you?

That is such a great idea! Those plates are cute and they would be a great way to do a very customized set of plates for a party or special event. I had no idea there was even a way to do this - so I will be looking for some plates like this. Thank you!

That's a great idea! The plates are just plain-o ceramic plates from Walmart. It's the marker that you need - ceramic and food/safe!

Oh my, my son would have loved these plates! What a fantastic and clever idea and that is one lucky boy you have.My son was a super picky eater and I'm sure these would've encouraged him to eat more!

We lucked out with a non-picky eater but I agree... it would probably help those kids who are.
