Happy Saturday! This may be the only time you will ever see me post on a Saturday. =) Today marks the 4th day in the 12 consecutive days of DIY Christmas Ornaments. Today, I'm sharing an adorable Feather Ball Ornament Tutorial.
I seriously am in love with how it turned out! It was super easy, just a bit time consuming. Ready for the mini-tutorial?

Gather your supplies. You will need a bag of feathers, a styrofoam ball and twine or something to hang
it with.
SHOP:
I found it easy to stick the ball on a toothpick during this project, so you will need that as well.
All you do is stick feathers in the ball. I turned as I went and then when I felt like I got it full, I looked at it and gauged where I thought I needed a few more feathers.
Hang it with some twine or wire and call it a day.
It probably took about ½ the bag of feathers and about 30 minutes to make. I think it's my favorite little ornament to date. What do you think?

LOVE this! Quick question: What did you use to stick the feathers onto the ball? 😉
Ashley Mayes
Thanks April! I just stuck them in... no glue or anything. The tip of the feathers (in a bag from Michaels) were pointy enough to stay on their own.
Linda @ It All Started With Paint

Thanks Linda! The only negative was that it's a bit time consuming, but I totally adore it.
