Ok, I finally found and bought THE LIGHT for the living room. Remember, this post, when I talked about lighting and wanting a more eclectic feel for our living room? Well, I was seriously leaning towards this light from Ballard Designs. I felt like it was eclectic and would help bring a touch of something different to our living room. Well, I kept pondering it, because the price was a bit steep.
Then, I found THE LIGHT and I mean, the perfect one. Of course, the perfect light is not so perfect with a $500 price tag. Insert sad face here. I looked everywhere online and could not find it cheaper than $460. Then, I went to a local lighting store and they were able to make a better deal and knock it down to $400. Still, $400 for a light. Sad face still inserted here.
So, that all happened in September. Well, luck finally turned my way. I found THE LIGHT on Ebay and made an offer. The seller and I went back and forth on the price, but I finally got it. I ended up getting over $200 off the original price. Did you know that you can go back and forth with prices and counter offers on Ebay? I haven’t bought much on there for a few years, so I guess I’m behind the curve. I’ll definitely be heading there from now on. I’m a bargainer at heart, so Ebay sellers beware!
