Happy Saturday! This may be the only time you will ever see me post on a Saturday. =) Today marks the 4th day in the 12 consecutive days of DIY Christmas Ornaments. Today, I’m sharing an adorable Feather Ball Ornament Tutorial.

I seriously am in love with how it turned out! It was super easy, just a bit time consuming. Ready for the mini-tutorial?

Gather your supplies. You will need a bag of feathers (found mine at Michaels), a styrofoam ball and twine or something to hang it with. I found it easy to stick the ball on a toothpick during this project, so you will need that as well.

All you do is stick feathers in the ball. I turned as I went and then when I felt like I got it full, I looked at it and gauged where I thought I needed a few more feathers.

Hang it with some twine or wire and call it a day.

It probably took about 1/2 the bag of feathers and about 30 minutes to make. I think it’s my favorite little ornament to date. What do you think?

Aww, Ashley you were the first guest at our party!! Thank you!!! I love this one. :) Sorry it took me until now to comment- I was “partying” from my phone and am not good at leaving comments with my thumbs- but I wanted to come back and re-read this later anyways!! I’ll have to see if I can make one before we put the tree up on Thursday (finally)! Woohoo! Have a GREAT Thanksgiving!
